Incident: Grand Jury Releases Findings on Salinas PD Collaborative Reform

The 2020/2021 Monterey County Civil Grand Jury just released its findings after investigating police reform at the Salinas Police Department. The report- Salinas Police Department, from Traditional Policing to Community Policing- delineates findings on the Salinas PD Collaborative Reform Initiative. The Salinas Police Department has worked diligently to address the 110 recommendations.  

The Department is very pleased with the positive report.

We would like to recognize and acknowledge the extensive hard work and dedication of every member of the Civil Grand Jury and we thank them for serving on the jury, guaranteeing honest and efficient government in the best interests of all the residents of Monterey County.
