This morning at approximately 6:55AM, Officers responded to a report of a man down that was unconscious and not breathing at the intersection of Kimmel St. and N. Sanborn Rd. As officers were arriving on scene, they received updated information that they were responding to a vehicle versus a pedestrian traffic collision. Firefighters arrived on scene shortly thereafter and pronounced the victim deceased.
Officers were able to contact the driver at the location and he was cooperative with the investigation. Traffic collision investigators spent several hours at the scene with N. Sanborn Rd. closed in both directions.
