On Sunday 3-8-2020 at approximately  6:15 pm, officers responded to a call of a victim of a shooting at Market St. at Williams Rd. They located a male adult (25) suffering from a bullet wound to the neck area. The investigation revealed the victim was sitting in his vehicle waiting for a friend in the 200 block of Toro Ave. when he was approached by the suspect who tried to open the driver's side vehicle door. The victim drove away, and the suspect pulled out a gun and fired several rounds at the victim's vehicle.

The victim was struck once. He was able to drive to the area of Williams Rd and Market Ave. where 911 was called and officers responded. The victim was transported to the hospital and is listed in critical condition. Suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult (25) wearing black jacket, black hat with a thin build.
