Arrest: Shooting/ Attempted Murder

An arrest has been made for the 12/05/20 attempted homicide of four victims on the 100 block of Paloma Avenue. Detectives developed evidence leading to the identity of a 16-year-old known gang associate. The suspect was arrested on Wednesday 12/9/20 without incident. Following the arrest, detectives served a search warrant at the suspect's residence on the 1000 block of Atlantic Street. The juvenile was booked into Monterey County Juvenile Hall for attempted murder and gang enhancements.

The victim who was shot remains in critical condition.
